My Dream Speaks Benefit for the Global Language Project - Helping Kids Learn a Foreign Language

Last night was the 2nd Annual My Dream Speaks Benefit for the Global Language Project.  Founded by Angela Jackson, their Speak to Succeed programs provide public elementary schools with the resources to teach underprivileged students Chinese, Arabic, and Spanish.

Students participating in this program are immersed in foreign lanuage class 3 times a week.  Yesterday's benefit help funds this critical mission of equipping American students with the multilingual skills needed to succeed in our ever globalized marketplace!

Attendees this April 11, 2013 event at the Times Center included Cythia Bailey from the Real Housewives of Atlanta and MSNBC / Today show news ancho Tamron Hall.  Cocktails and h'ordeurves were served as guests mingled and participated in silent auctions for items that included fine artwork by Haitian artist Guy Stanley Piloche.  The night concluded with an awards ceromony, and performances by GLP students and renowned 'Afropean' French hip hop group, the Les Nubians.
