Last Wednesday, April 17 2013 marked the 25th anniversary gala of the Global Women's Fund, a foundation that invests in women's right groups all around the world. This international event was held at the grand venue of Cipriani, New York City.
Many accomplished women in the fields of women's rights, poltics, journalist, activists, and philanthropy attended the gala in beautiful modern and traditional ethnic gowns. Christiane Amanpour hosted the event and Hillary Clinton gave a keynote speech about the importance of women's right activism.
President of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards and filmaker/philanthropist Abigail Disney also spoke and inspired the audience about the important advancements made for women abroad with the help of the Global Women's Fund.
