The Ballet Hispanico held it's annual gala at the ballroom of the beautiful Plaza Hotel in New York City on April 8, 2013. Notable attendees of this year's gala included President of BBC America Herb Scannell, CEO of Univision Randy Falco, and renowned Cuban singer Emilio Estefan of the Miami Sound Machine.

The Ballet Hispanico promotes the discovery and expression of Latino culture through dance. They do this by holding performances to the public through their own professional dance repertory at the Joyce theater, and by teaching different styles of dance to children and teenagers. Located on Manhattan's Upper West Side, the dance school offers an impressive array of classes in ballet, flamenco, hip hop, jazz, salsa, and ballroom dancing. And for those more serious of their dance studies, there is a pre-professional dance school that cover 10 years of training, from age 8 - 18.
The Gala was a night of cocktails, dinner, and of course dancing! We got to see what we'll have to say is the best Flamenco performance we've seen live to date!
